The best two ways I make an income online

The future is digital, and it is already here.

You’ve already witnessed the shift from a world of tangible objects to one of the intangible bits.

You’ve probably noticed that everything is going online every day. Everything you buy, everything you read, everything you watch.

Even technology is robbing us of our offline time.

Many of us spend more time indoors than we do outside. This trend will only continue, especially with the advent of VR and AR.

If you are not cashing out on everything online, you are passing up a huge opportunity. As with anything, technology’s early adopters or first movers benefit greatly.

We saw this with the internet, cryptocurrencies, YouTube, and everything else. It makes a big difference in your life if you can adapt to changes quickly and without saying, “Who moved my cheese?”

This post is not for you if you expect it to contain any strategies for making money quickly by clicking on ads and filling out surveys. I tried that and I didn’t benefit from the results. So I will not be happy either to give the same advice almost everyone is saying out there.

This post is only for people who are serious about starting an online business, and what I do.

Let’s get started.

  1. Learn a skill that is in demand.

People are soon understanding that what they learn in college has little to do with their lives.

They are increasingly realizing that training in specific fields of interest pays well and is preferable to traditional schooling, which has been constant for generations. Even the degree of dignity is decreasing.

It’s time to dive into an industry of interest, become an expert, and become a trainer.

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’re probably aware that I’m also a digital marketing trainer (currently providing 1-on-1 mentoring sessions), and that I’ve built online courses and possibly membership sites in the future.

People quickly recognize that life is too short to learn everything in one lifetime.

If you are a newbie who wants to effortlessly promote your training courses while focusing solely on the production process, you can become an instructor on Udemy, Skillshare, or build your own online school as I did. The opportunities are endless.

These platforms already have hundreds of thousands of highly driven learners, and selling your product will be a breeze if you use their Market Insights tools to find a suitable niche.

  • Selling Digital Products

This is the next profitable online business I have ever come across. It’s all over the place. People sell eBooks, instructional products, WordPress plugins, themes, and productivity solutions.

eCommerce has become a convenient way to buy products online which is proliferating over the years in the near future.

Reselling Whitelabel products as your own products has also become a big business in the form of dropshipping. If I could give some advice, please do better research before spending money on something that will not work out for you.

In contrast to affiliate marketing, selling your own products may pay you a huge sum depending upon the product you created and how you promote it.

First and foremost, how you research your market and competition determines 70% of your success when developing any product. When you are certain that there will be eager buyers for your product, begin developing it.

The income you earn from selling digital products is not entirely passive. However, if you publish an eBook or other instructional products, it will be mostly passive revenue

If you are a talented programmer, you might want to create some SaaS apps. However, substantial market research is required before developing any SaaS solution

I recommend that you browse the most popular categories on Products and check out some of the products that interest you only after conducting market research.

In the case of software or plugins, however, you must collaborate with a developer and outsource the development effort.

For example, if you want to release a great WordPress theme but don’t want to market it, you can join marketplaces like Envato or Shopify Themes.

Because Envato is oversaturated with products, I recommend you look for niche-specific theme marketplaces like Shopify Themes.

Depending on the goods you offer, this will provide you with a long-term sustainable income.

Conclusion

I hope this post has added some value to your life. Please feel free to comment blow if you have any questions. Good luck!
