The list goes on. What’s the takeaway? You don’t have to invent the next big thing. Instead, think about copying a successful product or service and making it better. I realized very late after graduating from the University that life is too short to reinvent the wheel!

I just realized that copying a proven idea is a smart way to start, and it’s completely legal if done responsibly.

Africa’s market, for example, is huge, with plenty of room for new and existing businesses to meet growing demand. Copying an already successful idea is one of the most effective and simple ways to start your own business.
